All Souls’ Day - Wednesday 2 November 2016 - 7.30 pm Sung Requiem

At this service we remember all those whom we have known and loved and who have died. We give thanks to God for our memories of them and of the time we spent with them and we entrust them to God’s loving care.

During this service the names of those to be remembered will be read aloud. Towards the end of the service, everyone present will be invited to take a lighted lantern out into the churchyard and place it on a grave, in the Garden of Remembrance or in front of the standing stone (if the person you are remembering is buried elsewhere).

Refreshments will be served in the Douglas Hall afterwards.

Please write any names of people that you wish to be remembered on the list on the noticeboard or give to Revd Bob Gould no later than Sunday 30th October. Please note that if the person to be remembered was on the list for last year’s service, you do not need to add the name again.
